Shipping policy
Fine woodworking takes time — and so does getting it to you properly. Every piece that leaves our Pensacola shop is packaged with care to arrive in the same condition it left our hands. Here's what to expect throughout the process.
Handcrafting & Fulfillment Time
Because many of our products involve skilled craftsmanship, order preparation can take anywhere from 3 to 5 business days before shipment. Custom or made-to-order pieces may require a longer production window — in those cases, we'll communicate an estimated ship date with you directly before proceeding.
Standard orders placed Monday through Friday are processed in the order they're received. Weekend and holiday submissions enter the queue the following business morning.
Delivery Timeline
Once your order ships from our Pensacola facility, domestic delivery typically takes 5 to 8 business days depending on the carrier route and your location. Customers throughout the Southeast can generally expect arrivals toward the shorter end of that window.
Delivery estimates are based on standard carrier projections and are not guaranteed commitments. Delays caused by weather events, carrier backlogs, or high-demand periods fall outside our control.
Shipping Rates
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the dimensions, weight, and destination of your order. For oversized or heavy woodworking items, freight-class shipping may be required — the applicable rate will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
If you're placing a large or commercial order, we recommend calling us at (850) 456-0550 ahead of time to discuss the most efficient shipping arrangement.
Tracking Your Shipment
A shipment confirmation email with tracking details will be sent once your order leaves our facility. Carrier tracking typically becomes visible within 24 to 48 hours of pickup. If you haven't received a confirmation email within 5 business days of placing your order, reach out and we'll look into it immediately.
Delivery Address Accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout — once an order enters our fulfillment process, changes cannot always be accommodated. Southern Woodworks Fine Woodworking LLC is not liable for deliveries that fail or are returned due to an incorrectly entered address.

Damage & Delivery Problems
We inspect and package every order carefully. If something doesn't arrive as expected:
Product or packaging is damaged upon arrival:
Retain all original packaging materials and photograph the damage before touching or moving the item. Email us at ceo@southern-woodworkings.com with your order number and photos within 48 hours of delivery. Claims submitted after this window may not be eligible for resolution through the carrier.
Tracking shows delivered but nothing received:
Check all access points to your home or business and confirm with anyone else at the location. If the package remains unaccounted for, contact us within 5 business days of the carrier's delivery notification so we can open a trace investigation promptly.
